I hate when I do this

Last Friday night was DH's step brother's 30th bday party..

I have 2 camera batteries for my Nikon D40x... one is the Nikon battery the camera came with and the other is a 6 hour generic one...

I NEVER had to change the battery... I'm pretty good with charging them once in a while...

The other night I started taking pictures and low and behold, the battery ran out (The one time I didn't charge it... I can't remember last time it was charged)

Luckily, I had the extra with me...

Tonight DH & I were cleaning the apt and the battery I took out (the Nikon one!) is not in the bag.

I got a *little* tipsy that night so i can't be 100% sure I put it back in there.

I HATE HATE HATE when I lose things due to my absentmindedness.

And it was the NIKON one... I don't know if that's a good thing b/c the generic one is a longer lasting one.

Now I'm obsessing and I can't get over the fact that I lost it due to stupidity
