advice on the outfit
I have my daughters christening soon, I have this really cute black Tahari pant suit I would like to wear , do you think it's ok to wear that with a cute black or pinkish top or just wear a dress? I can't make up my mind The thing is that the restaurante we are going to isnt fancy or anything, but I want to look nice and church appropriate.

It's your kid, it's ok if you are more dressed up than you would normally be for that restaurant. Wear the suit if you like & feel comfortable in it.
If you are choosing between black & pink for a top, I'd go with pink to make it a little more festive, since it's daytime & a happy occasion.
You could also wear a colored shoe if you have it, but if not, black is fine.

Don't get sucked into that silly mentality that black is depressing .....Black is classic and always appropriate.
If you feel like you need some color, add a pink or blue cami under the suit jacket, or wear a colored shoe .......
But if you're comfortable in the black suit, definitely wear it - there is no law that says Mommy must be in a skirt or dress for the baby's Baptism !! Wear what you feel good in !

Thank you girls, I think I am going to wear a pant-suit, I think I 'll be more comfortable in it, plus I like the way it looks on me
