Hi there! Im new and newly...
Prego! I havent told anyone yet because its so early on (4 weeks?) but I cant wait to become a part of this board! I was an LIW junkie, funny how things change so fast. Just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to the next 9 months with you!
And heres my first question...do you talk about doctors? Not crazy about my OBGYN at ALL. But is it too late to find someone...and how do you know they are good?

Congrats....I'm 4 weeks as well so we'll be in it together too!
Definitely not too late to find a new doctor. My doctor is in the city and delivers at Lenox Hill. Let me know if you'd like her information!

Totally! And i haven't moved much. It also doesn't feel real yet because I havent been to the doc yet (except to confirm with blood test)

Congrats, it is not too late to find a doctor. The next 9 months are emotional (IMO) so make sure you have a dr. that you really like and feel comfortable with.
I have an excellent OBGYN in North Babylon, FM me if you want his info.

It is very important to have a good relationship with your doctor. You are going to be seeing a lot of him/her in the coming months and you want to feel comfortable.

Hello and congrats
My doc is in Commack and delievers at Huntington Hospital.
best of luck.. go to lots of appts if you need to but find the doctor that fits!

Congrats and welcome to the board!! It is not too late to change OB docs. I changed mine since DH and I bought a house out in Suffolk and my old doc was in Nassau. I would decide if you want a group practice or a sole practitioner. Then ask for recommendations on the board- that's what I did. I asked for docs that deliver at Good Sam or Southside. Good luck!! If you want a sole practitioner in Suffolk who delivers at Good Sam, my doc- Dr. Trivedi is amazing!! I can FM you a tel# if you need it!!
