gift for adult being confirmed Catholic?
My cousin is converting to Catholicism and her confirmation is this weekend at Easter Vigil....her fiance is buying her a cross and her parents have bought her a rosary and a rosary holder.
What should I get her? She's 28 and will be getting married this fall - I'm thinking of a cross for their house but I'm not sure...any ideas/suggestions? TIA!

I like the idea of a cross for the house. Maybe a nice set of rosary beads or a good copy of the Bible if she doesn't already have.
Money is always good too.

Since people have already gotten her the typical gifts, i think something for the house like you were thinking would be nice. you could do a cross or many Catholic stores (Advent in RVC) and the Catholic Shoppe in Roosevelt Field would have other nice options... maybe a holy water font for near the front door, a cross like yousuggested, a holy statue (tha'ts not tacky!), etc. etc.

A cross for the house is a nice idea. I have one above our bed and one in the livingroom.
I made my confirmation as an adult too (not a convert, my parents had me christened, but were not religious) Another idea is a religous medal of her Saint name (if you know it). I love my St. Philomena medal (except it's yellow gold, so I stoped wearing it years ago). I also got a book on my Saint which I loved.
