40w2d..went to the doctor
Our baby is doing great but nothing happening with me....
My doctor spoke to me about inducing on Monday and I asked him if its absolutely necessary and he responded...not absolutely necessary...he said we can wait a couple of days after the Monday as long as there is enough amniotic fluid and the baby is not stressed...he explained that after 41 weeks the placenta tend to not work as it should...and the way they know if it is or not is by how much amniotic fluid there is. So...he will wait it out until he feels that we should not anymore...and I trust him so I will listen at that point...all i wanted is for him to understand that I don't want to be induced for my own sake but I will NEVER put my baby's life and health at risk. We are on the same page. :)
Next appointment is on Friday.
Overall...I'm tired but that is to be expected since I don't sleep....but physically I feel good...God has that perfect day and He's giving me the strength to wait for it.

i wish you lots of luck and hope your water breaks soon!! i can't imagine another week added on to the already long 40 week process...i'm 34 weeks and i'm like 4 more weeks and i will break my own water!

Chas, just as long as you don't have this baby in the bathroom at the movie theater where we bumped into each other, that would be fine!

See my post about my 40 w apt today....
Are you feeling any BHs? I feel them alot, but apparently they aren't doing much....
DH has moved to the guest room, so I can have the whole bed - i have about 6 pillows piled under my head and have 2 pos that I find comfortable enough to sleep in and wake up ever 1.5 hours or so...
Feel better....

That's my schedule...I wake up every hour to 1.5 hour...but its amazing how I can still function...because when I used to go out and come home at 3-4 in the morning and go to work the next day I looked like hell and couldn't even say a proper sentence.
I only get BH at night and its not that frequent...I thought that might have been the reason that I am not dilating but then my girlfriend said she rarely had them and she dilated fine. Who knows!!!!

Hope the baby comes soon! Tomorrow is a full moon so who knows! When I was pg with my DS my doctors waited 2 weeks to induce unless there was a reason to otherwise so I think you should be fine to wait. My DS came the day before I was scheduled for an induction.
