both of DH's brothers that are in the army--served a year each there.
1 brother didn't re-sign his contract when he got done with Iraq---he said he had to leave the military because, "I will never go back to that place again."
the other 1 is being sent back sometimes this year for a 2nd tour.  i don't know how his wife does it with their 5 kids by herself when he's gone. (he did a year in korea too)

DH was one of them.
for all the troops out there today.
so was my little brother.
4 days before his 21st birthday. He served two tours as a Marine.
I am so happy he came home BOTH times in one piece.
I wish all of our troops serving AND their families the same joy and relief.

My DD's friend is 24 and he just came back after 5 years of service in Afganistan and Irag!

God Bless your honorable family. I too was a Marine that served in Iraq. Not a day goes by that i dont miss the corp.
