What would you do - work related
I am supposed to work tomorrow, but DD has her last day of music class which i would really like to bring her to.
My boss and I have a very volatile love/hate relationship. After a number of obnoxious and nasty emails from him today while he is on vacation, we are in a hate stage.
We are also short staffed and i've taken up the slack for the 2 missing slots as well as covering for him. If I don't go in, people can cover for me but any clients that called probably wouldn't be able to be helped by them, messages would just have to be taken.
Would you call in the morning and say something came up and you couldn't go in until Noon or would you just not go to the class?

if it were me, I would go in to work. I personally would not want to risk an even more p*ssed off boss. JMO

I agree. If your boss found out WHY you didn't come in, I am sure the $hit would hit the fan. I am sure DD won't even notice
