the are a moderate department store
their pricing stragedy is to alway be "on sale" - 30-40% to they jack up the "retail"
to they aren't really having a sale - that is the price they mean to sell it at

It's like Target in that it has clothes and home decor, but it doesn't have electronics or toys.

They carry a lot of the Liz Claiborne and Nine West brands... I always have luck with their dresses and workwear. Sometimes the shoe dept is good too.... oh, and they have most bra/undies brands at prices better than Macys.

I think Target is much better since they sell food/toiletries, etc., but Kohl's as someone else said is a moderately-priced department store. The constant sales bother me--I wish prices were lower to begin with instead of every week being the "sale of the season." I don't think their own brands are very well made, but they do sell some Ralph Lauren/Nine West/Liz Claiborne.

I have purchased shoes and housewares from there. The clothes I never seem to have luck with. I don't know if its the one I go to but it always looks like a tornado hit in there.

it's ok, I buy Levi's jeans there. I also got some nice bathroom items there - shower curtain, coordinating towes, mat, etc.
eta: I also get some bras there. they have all the same stuff as Macy's for a lot less.

I buy my sheets & some housewares there. They have great seasonal items also. And I always do good with shoes there! DH buys alot of clothes there, but I never seem to find anything.

I always do good in Kohl;s Love that store...
Although I was a bit disappointed this past weekend becuase they hardly had a "shorts" selection and I need them very soon!

I like Kohl's..I have some of their Sonoma stuff that has outlasted my higher priced Gap things, etc. It is hit or miss, but when you hit, it's great...

I love Kohl's... they have the best candles, frames, photo albums, pillows, comforter sets, bathroom stuff, etc... and the best sales!!
They are finally opening one in my area... 5 mins from my house! It's almost done, I can't wait.
