Q about tax rebate
i used direct deposit for my federal tax rebate but i am mailing in my check to the state (i owe the state this year and got a little bit back from the fed).
when they are sending you your tax rebate they go by what you used (DD or paper check) for fed or does it have to be the same for fed and state?
sorry if this sounds dumb but i am not used to doing my own taxes

yes they are going by direct depoist or checks for the FED only and the Direct deposit people will get their checks first.,

They are only going by your FEDERAL return. It has nothing to do with your state return!
