just got back from doctors appt
no dilation and the baby moved back up. so frustrated. he wants me to go back on tuesday and if there is still nothing going on he will induce me on that wednesday since my due date is the next day. dont understand why im cant walk and still no dilation. i need some labor vibes.

why would he induce you the day before you're due? is the baby very large right now? I'm surprised because I thought inductions are usually not scheduled that soon becuase of possible complications from pitocin...

Being that she's already had a previous successful vaginal delivery, she is more likely to have a successful induction.
--coming from someone who has had 2 successful inductions.

good to know! As you can probably tell, I'm a bit worried that I get put on pitocin prematurely... but this will be my first labor, so I'm not in the same boat as you.....

my daughter was 2 days late and i hada natural birth and they did give me pitocin. she wwas 9 lbs 13 oz. they already said this baby is 9lbs and full term. he wants me to get induced the day before my due date becuause he does inductions and c sections on wednesdays and will already be there. i have the option of going to be induced on april 2nd the wed after my due date but honestly i cannot believe i would make it another week. i am very uncomfortable. and have been for a month already.

I can imagine! The unkown is the scariest thing ever!
My water partially broke with DC#1, but I still had to be induced (using Pitocin) because my contractions were erratic and I wasn't dilating at all.
