REALLY DUMB ? for Mom's
I was wondering ...Can you just go into full labor contractions and all without being dialted? About the Contractions do they also start off slow and far apart?

I woke up fine and while getting ready for work my water broke. About 10 minutes later the contractions started. They were 5 minutes apart from the start.

I don't know about not being dilated at all...I was about 3 cms for about 2 weeks before I went into labor, from the time my water broke until the time of my first contraction was about 45 minutes...my first contraction was about a 5 on a pain scale from 1-10...

They may start within minutes or you may not have any right away. Everyone is different.

You can go into labor without being dialted at all.
The contractions can start out really far apart, or they can start off being super close together. WIth my 2nd baby, my contractions atrted at 3-5 minutes apart and stayed that way throughout my labor.
