Sadly, this has happened to me as well. Not with this particular show but with others.

yes, I had this problem a while back. People seemed to make a change once I asked publicly, so go on! Beg!

Re: FYI: If you are going to write specifics about a tv show

Sorry this happened to you Lisa

But serve it as a lesson learned not to click on any thread that is about a show you watch, unless you are up to date on all the episodes

In a perfect world, it would be nice if we could all be on the same viewing schedule and not know things before they happen. but with DVR, Tivo, and internet spoilers, it's not the reality.

And on this fourm, yes, it would be nice if people always put spoiler alerts in the title. It's just not reality, since we all have different schedules, and it's an easy thing to forget.

If I'm not up to date on a show, I don't click on anything related to that show, whether it says spoiler alert or not. You can't rely on others - you have to fend for yourself

Ya know, I usually don't click on shows with the title name of something that I haven't caught up on...

but I think it was the way this one was worded...as if the poster had a question....Chat Icon

The same thing happens on the Storyboards. I try not to click on th threads, but sometimes you can't help it.

It can be frustrating.

Re: FYI: If you are going to write specifics about a tv show

ooh i just saw the post... that was really bad and very blatant - and you're right, the title was worded like the OP had a question, not tht they were going to spoil the entire episode in one shot!!

I agree.

I know not to click on thread titles with shows I don't want spoiled but the title suggested there was a question about the show - when it is on or something. Not "OMG XYZ happend."

I have to agree with you there Don.... If the show title is there in the post title and you click it you take the risk of it being a spoiler... as you then can not blame the poster for something you did in taking that riskChat Icon

Re: FYI: If you are going to write specifics about a tv show

this happened to me with the finale of project runway. I was so bummed. The title of the post was not even the show title or a question about it - it was just one of the characters names (the one who won) - I of course didn't think it was Project Runway related until I opened it. Such a bummer. Chat Icon
