yea, I think in urban cities where there tends more diversity it's more likely.

DH and I have extremely similar backgrounds. That is what we sought out when we chose each other. It was, however, easier to do in NY, because people of our background are superfluous here as opposed to most other places in this country.

I don't think it really matters. In HS, I went to a small school with 97% of the student body being white.
I met DH there. I think if you have an open mind, it can happen anywhere.
