When Michael gets out of the car (just before it explodes), why did he get out? Did he know he was being followed?
Was Marty in on it all? Why did he send Michael to that guys house for a traffic accident? Why did he tell Michael he was in the Bahamas when he was clearly working on that case in the office?

We saw it a couple of weeks ago..
I think that he knew he was being followed, and he got out of the car because he thought he lost them and it was just having a slight breakdown. He did not know the car was going to blow up.
I think he was sent to the house because he is the guy to just make stuff go away. The traffic accident guy was high profile and he hit someone I think-- so, it could have been a very sticky situaton and that is was George's character does-- handles these situations before anyone else gets involved-- like the courts, police.
I don't think Marty was in the Bahamas-- most of the movie was a flashback- with the exception of the beginning and the end.

Randi beat me to it, I was feeding the cat.
I think Marty was in on the bombing.
Clayton knew something was up because there was nothing to indicate there was an accident where the guy said there was one. But I think getting out of the car at that moment was a coincidence.

Thank you. That is what we though (about ehy he got out of the car). When MC was driving up to Westchester and his nav went out, I said that someone had messed with it.
As far as Marty, the reason he was not able to help the high profile client himself was that he told him he was in the Bahamas. I wasn't sure what that was all about since we knew he was in the boardroom at that time.
I did realize the movie was all flashbacks but it was only 4 days worth (in the beginning, right after the car blows up, it said 4 days earlier.... then goes back to the beginning)
We watched it last night. While it was good and all, I don't think it was "Oscar worthy".

remember the part when Michael broke into Arthur apartment after he was killed... He found Arthur's notes and in the book their was a drawing by Arthur of horses and trees on top of a hell...

Ahhh! So THAT was what that was about! I still have it on DVR until tonight. I might watch it again today
