If you had your baby already...
what were some of the signs that you were going into labor? Did things start early... like a couple weeks before you actually went into labor, or did it kind of just hit all of a sudden one day?

My water broke first and then within minutes I was having contractions. My Dr said that is not the norm.

with #1 i was a week and a half late and was induced, i lost my mucus plug so i probably would have went on my own a few days later, but i wanter her out.
with #2 i was 38 weeks and 1cm dilated, i had contraction throughout the week before and lost my MP over a few days, so i knew it was coming.

I kept looking for signs (and even convinced myself that I was having "labor symptoms") but when labor truly came on, it was all of a sudden and there was no mistaking it!!

The day my water broke my back was KILLING me! I couldn't really even walk. I didn't think anything of it at the time.

TMI, but for a few weeks before I noticed a lot more discharge than I had previously. Two weeks before I was getting sharp little pains in my cervix/uterus. And I had mild but regular contractions all day before my water broke (12 hours or so before) so I knew I was going to the hospital that day.
