Spinoff- Do you know immoral people?
While I disagree with some of the choices others make, I think most of the people I know are pretty moral and know right from wrong. I just find it surprising that so many people in power, be it business, politics, what have you, are so corrupt.
Maybe its something that happens on the way up.

Maybe its something that happens on the way up.
Or maybe there is something in the position, whether it be the power, or something else, that *attracts* immoral people? 
Yes, I've known people who have lackluster morals. None have been my friends, fortunately.

YES.... my BIL 
while he always argues on behalf of conservative values, he's a hypocrite. We are fairly certain he breaks the law and does unethical things on numerous levels.
Our family is grinning the whole time and patiently waiting for him to end up either divorced or in the slammer.
oh I hope it happens soon

My ex was DEF. immoral... he would lie, cheat and steal and not even think twice about it .. I don't know how people can live like that

I honestly can't think of anyone in my personal life who is immoral. Based on the population I work with, I have met many people who I consider immoral.

Yes, and he happens to be a lawyer and has a strong interest in politics (I know he's aiming to be at least a state senator and follow in the family footsteps.)
In fact, not only is he immoral, but he's somewhat of a sociopath.

i know immoral people, but am not friendly with any. i have left jobs for that reason alone.
there are some things i will compromise... my morals are not one of them.
