Grrr...the government gets MORE money from me!!!
I did some extra work and the time frame fell under two different pay periods. Fine great, two checks, right? Well, no...somehow, the two time sheets were sent in at the same time so it was put on one check and an extra $400 was taken out in taxes!  Great...could have REALLY used it, too!
Eh, maybe it'll buy some politician a bl0w job

its going to take more than $400 for the happy ending, you'd be work some more extra time so the can get the full service

you'll get it back at tax time....
I had a paycheck issue when I began my current job.... they gave me one giant check for 3 weeks back pay. needless to say, a HUGE amount was taken out for taxes... it came back the following april....

Taxes are taken out based on your weekly paycheck x 52 is your annual salary. A huge check one week is seen as a huge salary for the year. At the end of the year, your taxes paid/owed is based on what you earned for the year, so it all balances out in the end. It just ***** watching it disappear until tax time...
