Kinda spinoff: Who's wife would you rather be?

Obviously you wouldn't want to be the spouse or family member of any one of these guys, but which situation would be the least difficult to deal with?

but...

there will be plenty of talk..ala Laura Schlessinger...is Mrs. Spitzer a prude...lamo in the sack, a cold fish, does she not take it in the face...is she in it only for the money...is she a weak woman, has she no self respect, she's just lost her looks...compared to the hooker, she's a dog...etc.

between women, comparisons can be made. especially by Mrs. Spitzer herself. McGreevy's wife can content herself in the knowledge that is was a lack of a johnson and testosterone that caused her husband to stray...

what will Mrs. Spitzer feel about herself now....that she has to worry about what these other women have that she doesn't.

never being in any of those situations, I wouldn't even want to guess. all of those wives went through complete hell.

I think possibly larry craig's wife should be the most fearful of her health, if they had any romantic life at all in their marriage.... his behavior was the most wreckless. But the other 2 are really close behind him.... who knows if the high priced hooker or the nj gov's boyfriend were ever tested for diseases.

the emotional impact of all three situations are completely stunning and out of the scope of my imagination . I have tremendous sympathy for all of those wives....

I would guess that since larry's situation has both a gay lilt AND a random sex act/cheating spin, I would probably suffer the most if I was Mrs. Craig.

If I had to pick one of these dirtbags as my husband, I'd pick Spitzer. McGreevey's entire marriage was based on a lie. He was always gay.

Spitzer, OTOH, paid hookers to have sex with him, I could accept that more easily than finding out he had an emotional (as well as physical) relationship with another woman.

That's a tough one.

I assume the Craigs have been married a long time, that would kill me to know he kept such a big secret so long.

McGreevy might be easier to deal with, there were certainly rumors for a long time that he was gay, she must have at least suspected it.

Spitzer's wife must be so humiliated right now. But Eliot's worth half a billion dollars, so she'll probably get a sizable settlement should she decide to leave him.

I guess being McGreevy's wife would be the easiest situation to deal with. They are all pretty crappy though.

McGreevy - I'd rather be cheated on by my hubby for a man, at least then I wouldn't take it personally.

Better than being the wife of someone who is involved in prostitution ring. Although there is suspicion that she knew about what was going on.
