Ebay Sellers....
Maybe I'm dumb- but I just don't get it.
When you buy bags to sell on e-bay, what is the appeal of the bag to the buyer as opposed to going to the store and buying the bag there?
(I'm talking about new bags, jewelry, clothing, etc...not stuff that is slightly used and then offered at a discount.)
Please explain the ebay phenomenon

Re: Ebay Sellers....
Don't forget - we are in NY where there are a lot of outlet stores and even regular stores that a person in middle america might not have access to.
I know a family that lives in NC - and they are 2 hours from the closest mall. Everytime they go clothes shopping its an outing.
PLus if the ebay seller gets the bag at a discount - then they can usually still sell it for less than the retail price so they buyer still makes out. (this happened to me recently. I bought a bag at a sample sale - but I decided i didnt want it so I ebayed it. I was able to make $$ and the buyer still got it for way less than it would have been in the store).
Sometimes the items are discontinued and the buyer can't find it elsewhere.

Re: Ebay Sellers....
There was once a very specific Coach bag that I could only find on EBay.
I think that's a draw for some people...
