where would i find the application for a d/b/a in nassau county?

do a search for either nassau county county center or try civil service. I forget which page it's on but it should be one of them.. HTH!

If you are a CORPORATION registered in NYS you need to apply for an 'assumed name' with the NYS Department of State to allow you to 'do business as' another name. On the form you circle which counties you want. It's $25 per county except the 5 boroughs where the fee is $100 each.

if only i had come onto LIF this morning and read all of that before i went down to the county clerks office in nassau! they told me the same thing you just did! thanks ma!
