I'm bawling...
My mom just sent me this poem and I am a mess!!!
THESE LAST FEW HOURS
It is important to me
that I spend a part
of these last few hours
here alone in the darkness
with you
You and I
will never be this close again
By morning
you will be a tiny person
all your own
No longer the kicking
demanding bulge in my body
that I have grown
to love so well
I pray God will safely
guide you on your journey tonight
and I will ask him
for the strength to help you
all I can
Again you signal
your impatience
to be free...

When I went into labor I took a few minutes to sit by myself and think about what was about to happen and "talk" to Logan for a couple minutes one on one.
I sat in the nursery and told him I would miss him in my belly but that I couldn't wait to meet him.
Then I woke up DH and called the doctor.

Very sweet poem. I think that this is what I miss most...especially when I am at work and away from my son. When I was pregnant he was always with me
