So when did DH turn into a 14 year old boy?
So I got DH Playstation 3 for Christmas. He has had several games, but a couple of weeks ago he got a game called Call of Duty (?)...
I now think he has transformed into a 14 year old boy. Last night he was up unitl 2 am playing the game online with other people, sitting in front of the TV with a headset, talking into his mic with the other players.... probably all the other 14 year old boys!  He had the hardest time waking up this morning... and I have to say I had little sympathy for him!
And he sounds completely different as he is talking to the other players too... like he has a new voice with a new way of talking. It cracks me up! It's like he has a new PS3 alter ego!
Someday he'll come back to me!

he was probably playing with my husband. and yes he does describe himself as a teenage boy when he plays these games!!!!!
the only good thing about it is sometimes it gets him out of my hair.

That's hysterical!!!
I guess I don't feel that bad because he helps me put our son to sleep before he starts playing!!! After that, he's off... and I get on LIF!!!

Of COURSE he is on right now! He promissed he would not stay up until 2:00 tonight because it was so hard for him to get up this morning.... but he seems really into it!

OMG, DH is downstairs playing it right now on xbox 360.
Sadly, he is a high school teacher and sometimes plays with his students. I always tell him that there are too many thing wrong with this picture.

That's funny! DH is upset because he is new to the game and is not very good. He basically gets his asz kicked every time he plays... getting kiilled every time he gets back up again!
He felt a little better when the guy at Best Buy told him that most of the players out there spend all day playing.. and that's why they are so good!

I feel your pain. DH came into bed at 2:15 this morning after playing Super Smash Bros. on the Wii. It just came out this past weekend, and he and his friend met at Nintendo World at 8 AM to pick it up, then went back to the friend's apartment and played all day! He came home, ate dinner with me, and resumed playing. He is playing now too.

I am guilty of playing Cod but I play it on 360. My DW loves COD3 and we play it together on Live. I actually used to play one board so much that I had a dream that I was actually in the game on that board. I haven't been playing COD4 as much recently but when I do I get into the game. Good luck on getting him back.

You've got the age exactly right. My 14 year old stepson is up until at minimum 2am playing Call of Duty 4 on XBox Live!

Too funny cause my DH LOVES Call of Duty.
He had on the PS2 and now the PS3.
It's one of his favorites.
(Though I never heard the "other" voice come out of him when he is playing it!......YET!! )
