Born Free Plastic Bottles
Is anyone getting these bottles?
I wonder why get glass when they make a safe plastic?

Re: Born Free Plastic Bottles
I would def go with the safer plastic. My kids used to throw their bottles all over the place. I could not imagine having to go through that with glass bottles!

I registered for and received the Born Free Plastic Bottles. I was a little afraid of the glass myself.

Yeah, I figured I would demolish the glass bottles myself. I'm using Born Free plastic with DS and they work really well.

I registered and received the born free plastic bottles, too. I never even considered glass.

Re: Born Free Plastic Bottles
I think the reason for glass over 'safe' plastic is because what's considered 'safe' changes over time. I'm certain there are chems in the safe bottles that may cuase a bit of trouble... it's just it hasn't been investigated yet.
I'm debating the glass / safe plastic thing right now. For real life, glass seems very impractical.... even more so when your child is crawling / walking, or if there is an older sibling that could walk into a pile of glass. maybe I'll get a couple of both and see how it works for us.

Re: Born Free Plastic Bottles
Honestly... for all you ladies concerned about the glass bottles... When mom was here visiting.... she was washing DD's bottles, and dropped one from a standing position onto my ceramic tile floor.
There was ZERO breakage, and ZERO chipping... trust me - I checked the bottle for about a half hour straight!
