If you were invited to a full on Venetian inspried masquerade ball
(you had to wear gown, mask, tux whatever)
would you go? I am talking hardcore. the really deal. not a halloween thing.

Could the party be held after the baby is born? If I had to do it before, I would never find a dress. Otherwise, HELLL to the yes. But convincing JW to go would be a different story.
