uhhh. Not sure if you can look her up but I wouldn't have opened the letter (illegal)

Can you bring it to the post office and take it from there? Tell them the situation and that you'd like it to be forwarded.
How long have you lived there? The PO is supposed to forward for up to one year for things like that? Do you fall under that time limit?

You should have written "no longer at this address" on the envelope and taken it to the Post Office.
Opening that letter was illegal.

agree.. i have gotten my mail once opened and the person wrote on it, sorry opened by accident. I canceled that credit card just in case, but im sure people just start opening the pile without realizing all the time.
