sinus infection?
ok so i woke up in the middle of the night with a bit of a sore throat and a lot of post nasal drip/congestion. ive been congested for wks but thought it was a pregnancy symptom that i read about online.
my question, i get sinus infections a lot and was wondering what doctors give u if u get one when pregnant? tia

Zythromax (?sp?)......
My Dr. prescribed it to me the other day because it's a Group B antibitoic.
He also has me taking Zyrtec (OTC allergy type pill for sneezing, congestion ect.).
I have had CONSTANT sinus issue since becoming pregnant & being this is the 3rd infection since then, it was time for some antibiotics this time to clear it up for good I hope!
Feel better!! There is something you can get at least!

I got the Z-pack a couple of months ago after battling a cold that wouldn't go away after 2 weeks.
Cleared me right up!

Buy Sinucleanse!! They sell it at Walgreens. Its a holistic saline rinse that clears your sinuses. I used to get really bad sinus infections and my ENT recommended this years ago. I use it often and my sinus infections don't come as regularly. It relieves pressure and congestion and makes you feel so much better when you are sick. Now that I'm pregnant, I use it once/week plus anytime after I am on a plane to clear out germs and keep the sinuses moist. I swear by it!!

I just got one a few weeks ago (after hearing about the netti pot on Oprah).
Really helped with my sinus pain.
