Anyone familiar with Larchmont?
My uncle lives up there and i need to get him a gift. I was wondering what stores or restaurants are in the area that I could buy a gift card for...

There are tons of great restaurants in Larchmont. If he's on the young side and might like something trendy, I would say a GC to Globe. If you want something a bit more upsclae there's Plates. And if he likes Mexican you can do Tequila Sunrise.

Mmmm, I love Globe! 
There is also Lusardi's, but it's more expensive.
We got my in-laws a gift card for there & they loved it.
As far as stores. . .there are malls in White Plains, which isn't far. . .so Neiman Marcus, Nordstom, Macy's, Sears, Fortunoff, Target, Barnes & Noble are all in the area, and a bunch of smaller stores are in the Westchester.

thanks, he's 70, so trendy is not his thing 
i guess, i would actually need a restaurant that is a chain, so i could buy a gift card for it here on LI...
