I am so annoyed, I got pulled over

And because I am so honest I didn't even use some lame pregnancy excuse for my speeding. I am annoyed at myself but I guess I should be ok with the fact that I was honest. I just didn't realize the speed limit until it was too late.

But of course I am sitting here now thinking if I told the guy that I was 7 months pregnant and having a bathroom emergency would he have let me go???? He at least did not give me the speeding ticket. He gave me a much lesser ticket and fine. Which I could plea down to a lower ticket but I don't feel like spending half a day in court to do so. When I told him I was pregnant he felt really bad about giving me the ticket.

Ugh, I am so mad right now. Thanks for listening to me vent.

That stinks!! I've always wondered myself if I'd use the preggo excuse if I get pulled over. Hopefully I won't have to find out.

I totally know how you feel!

I got pulled over when I was 16 weeks pregnant for doing 43 in a 35 zone. I was just trying to get to the area where there was cell service because I had just come back from the dr. and wanted to tell my dh how it went.

Anyway, I was crying and everything and told the cop I was pregnant and was just coming from a dr. appointment where I learned of a minor complication (I had found out I was having thyroid issues and needed to be put on meds)... not to mention I handed him 2 detective pba cards and he still wrote the ticket! I had to spend 2 nights in court after working all day and got it knocked down to a wrong turn, which was over $100 fine and 2 points.

My dh hopes to find him in a dark alley one day because of how upset it made me.
