BF and WeightWatchers for After Birth
Hi ladies. For anyone interested - there has been mention of Weight Watchers on a post regarding losing weight after baby - I found the info below on WW.com regarding "Weight-Loss Recommendations for New Moms." It says that it is generally recommended that breastfeeding women wait for 6-8 weeks before attempting active weight loss, as the body needs time to recover from childbirth and establish a good milk supply.
There is some other good info on here about what is considered healthy weight loss while BF.

i agree with what WW says. During the first 6 weeks you'll probably be losing weight anyway without following any kind of plan.

Very true, plus BF mom's need additional calories. I believe it is close to 500 but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks for the input ladies! They actually give you more "points" and have you eat more if you are a BF mom on the plan to take care of the additional calories. I am so excited to go back on the plan!!!
