Ebay advice
So I am thinking of selling DVD's, CD's, books, xbox games.....and what not....
Any advice... I have bought a lot but not sold. Is it easy to do? Is it worth it to do? Can you make money?
Thanks ahead....

Re: Ebay advice
those categories aren't the easiest
there is alot of competition - amazon.com etc
I would try a few and see what happens

Re: Ebay advice
i sell a lot of stuff on ebay. my DH had some video games that i listed in a "lot of 5" they really didn't sell for as much as i thought they would. never sold CD's or books. if you don't want to give them away for practically nothing, i would suggest putting a reserve on the items.

Re: Ebay advice
I would check out secondspin.com to sell your CD's and DVD's. they dont pay a ton....the most I got was $5 for a box set but at least you do not have to pay a lisiting fee like on eBay . And like Beth said...they arent easy categories to sell in....

Re: Ebay advice
It's really easy to list stuff! I've made a good amount of $$ from ebay.. it's def. worth a try for you! Its hard to sell those type of things unless they are pretty new and popular.. you could try listing it on half.com or if you want to just list it on paperbackswap.com or swapadvd.com, that's a good way to get rid of stuff and get something back out of it

Re: Ebay advice
Its pretty easy to sell stuff. The thing that seems to be working for me is to start selling things cheap like .99.
I sold The Office for $30 and Prison Break Season 2 for 25 dollars and they were both used.

Re: Ebay advice
I might list that stuff on Amazon first. There is no listing fees, no photos to take or post.
It's easier for a forst time seller as Amazon handles all of the transaction.
Good luck! It's great to get rid of clutter and make some cash!
