Should I cancel?
the photography class I signed up for starting March 18th? I am sure I'm going to answer my own question here. I'm always up for learning new stuff so I signed up a while back for this photography class . I got an SLR digital camera a year ago and realized I needed help with lighting etc.... This class is photog 101, meaning 35mm film camera and there is a lab involved for developing film. I'm sure I shoudl be staying away from those chemicals just trying to get pg. Plus I will be starting my IVF cycle March 19th. I should cancel it, right?

Sorry for the crash.
I have a degree in photography. If you limit your time and get a surgical mask to while you are in the dark room you should be fine, but if you are uncomfortable then don't do it.

ITA- personally I would do it- if it's something you enjoy and you're not going to be in the lab for hours upon hours, then my feelihng is that the good outweighs the bad. I was only ever in the lab for actually developing the pics--- the rest of the time I was in a classroom/studio which was next door.
Where are you taking the class?

I was supposed to take it at Boces Adult education. Talked to my RE and he said it's fine untill transfer. But, it's only 4 weeks and smack in the middle so, I had to cancel because it's not worth it to miss 3 classes of 8. thanks for your advice. I'll have figure out how to take it in the future.

That's where i thought you might say. My Dh is teaching their intro to film class. I've taken a few photo classes (a while ago) but if you have any questions about lighting and stuff, feel free to FM me. Photography is one of my passions!!!
