need place for Christenings

Our baby isn't due till January and I wanted to price out some places for a christening for June. The baby will be baptized in Huntington so we were looking for a place fairly close that can accommodate 100 people. TIA

You should be aware that one of the challenges I had with finding a place was the timing. The restaurants/halls have set times when they could accomodate me.

I had one at Tutto Pazzo (across from the Harbor Club).http://www.tuttopazzo.com
The other we had Tello on New Street in Huntington.

I think Tello's would be too small, but Tutto Pazzo could probably do 100 pp.

Other Huntington places that cater are Jonathan's, Meehan's and Blue Honu.
I've been to Joanina's which was pretty good, but too small.

If it doesn't have to be Huntington, you could try the Mill Pond, Thatched Cottage in Centerport.

Northport has Geri's Northside Grill...hmm...still thinking..will add to the post as I think of more

im going to call blue honu, i love joaninas but they cannot accomodate 100 people they couldnt accomodate 50 for my shower. meehans is buffet style and seems pretty good price. Mill pond is too small and expensive. Im going to check the thatched cottage too.

You might be surprised but my friend had a party at Nappertandys in Northport and the food is great-it's a private room and they can prob. fit 100-you'd have to call and find out.
