Something to make your hair grow faster?
A co-worker was telling me that there is a vitamin you can buy that will make your hair/nails grow faster. Does anyone know which vitamin this is?? I'm in a bridal party in July and we need to have our hair up - I cut mine short after my wedding and I just need to try and get it to grow as much as possible before July.

Biotin might be what she is referring to, but there are some weird contra-indications and its validity in helping your hair grow is arguable.

That vitamin is called Prenatals! 
made my hair and nails grow really fast. Still does since I still take it because i am breastfeeding.

Go to gnc and get biotin...I take it every morning and it definitley works. My hair and nails are so much healthier than before I started taking it.

You can! It is actually recommended that women take them a year before TTC

You absolutely can! Go for it! Just watch out for side-effects like constipation. it might happen if the iron is too high...

The key ingredient is Biotin..i used GNC hair & nail or hair & skin formula (i forgot exactly what it was called) but after about 6 weeks I def saw a difference.
I also ordered a vitimin from HSN that was great...it had double the biotin than most vitamins...i can find out the name if you are interested. I cant think of it offhand.
