bratty friend

ok.. so i'm in a wedding in may, and the shower is this sunday. its just a small shower at the bride's parents house... just like she wanted.
one of the bridesmaids volunteered to make some finger sandwiches, a lasagna, and a tray of homemade mac and cheese for food. we're also doing a veggie tray, garden salad, chocolate fountain,etc.
now, we all said we would save the cutting veggies and fruits till that morning so the one girl doesn't have to do all the work. it won't take long with 5 of us doing it. plus, they'll be fresher!
so, anyway, the bride knows the date of the shower. another bridesmaid was just talking to her asking where she was going be that morning while we were setting up. and she said " oh... in my parents house". so when the bridesmaid told her we were gonna be doing some of the food, the bride goes " well.. thats just poor planning if you're doing it that morning" what a brat! she has NO idea how many e-mails have been goin back and forth about this shower, and how much thought we've put into it! even if we did make stuff ahead of time, it stil needs to be heated up, assembled, whatever... GRR!!! LOL

Tell her to go ge a manicure and pedicure that morning and get over it.

can one of you go out with her to get a manicure just to make sure she goes? My SIL's baby shower was in her own house b/c it was the only one of our houses that could accomodate the # of ppl we invited--- she stayed in her bedroom the entire time and promised not to come out--- b/c she was due a few weeks after the shower and couldn't deal w. going out that morning.
But for a bridal shower she should definitely be out of the house--- otherwise she'll just be telling you how to decorate and where to put things, etc...
