I think everyone is guilty of taking their life for granted and I also think that most people live with regrets. I think it's natural to do both of those things, however, I try as hard as I can to be thankful and grateful for the things I have. In doing that, I am able to live with very few regrets.

I don't know if most people know how lucky they are and to be thankful for every day.
But the optomist in me hopes so! Life is very short and there is a lot of good in the world despite all the ugliness. That is what keeps me going...

my eyesight. Losing complete sight in one eye so fast makes me realize how precious our eyes are, I am now VERY protective of my other/working eye as I don't ever want to be completly blind.
Of course next is my family. JAG, DH, my parents and my sister? NO BRAINER. The things they have done for me over the last two years is just beyond belief.

I am grateful just being alive and healthy.
I am also grateful to see my kids as teenagers, I never thought that they would grow up soooo fast. I count my blessing everyday. I am also grateful for a wonderful husband and a very supportive family
