So annoyed at AIM right now...

Let me start by saying I work for an Internet company, and YES, we sell those annoying pop up ads you all know and love. But we do sell them on a Remnant basis, meaning they will only serve after other campaigns have served, and we sell a very very limited quantity of them...

Anyway, my gripe today is over these rollover ads AOL has been running on their AIM buddy windows. Everytime I go to close out my buddy list I am getting an ad... they should have these ads capped so after I get the first 10 I won't get another for the rest of the day!!

I'm so cranky the past 2 days... I really don't know what my problem is.. sorry for the rant..

with Trillian, you don't have to worry about silly AIM ads and gimmicks

plus you can use all your AIM progs (except gtalk) in it..

in my Trillian, i have MSN, ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo all in one window.

This has been so annoying with AOL all together. Every time I sign on, there's an ad and every time I sign off, there's an ad I have to say "no thank you" to to even sign off. Why the h@ll am I paying for service with all these ads?

I had Trillion on my old laptop, but it kept brining me bugs for some reason, and when I got my new machine I just ditched it and used AIM. Everyone I use it for is on AIM anyway, so I don't really need the other 3 ya know?

I know it's a pain, and I hate complaining about ads because working for an Internet company I know it's what pays the bills... but for them not to at least cap the ads so you don't get more than 1 a visit is pure stupidity....
