He was a friend of my ex-husbands! He was actually in our BRIDAL PARTY!!!!!!
He moved away, came back, tried to get me to call him every time I'd run into him, and finally I gave in after a couple of years! Here we are!!!!!!

I love these stories...
met my current bf last year on St. Patrick's Day in a bar. went to city to have fun- didnt really want to meet anyone especially on that day. 6 months before had my heart broken and got an anullment... just didnt care anymore.
my friend was actually talking to him (shes married) and he asked who I was... She kept coming over to me and telling me to talk to him, hes sucha nice guy blah blah... i wanted no part of him.. I was just having fun. We did finally get to talk and I gave him my #.
I remember him tellingme he lived in Nyack and I said to myself- there is NO way I am going to go out with this guy. I even cancelled the first two times we set up dates. I finally went out with him, and eventhough I tried to find every excuse in the book not to like him, I couldnt
9 months later and things are still good. This holiday is looking so much better than last year!

We were both working at macaroni grill 8 years ago while going ot school. When I started there he trained me....Hmmm that didn't sound right....:LOL: (he was a server trainer). Anyway I had just broken up with someone and a mutual friend who worked with us kept pushing us together. She ended up in our bridal party.

Thru mutual friends in 2001. But, we were both on the periphery of the same group since we're 15. Our friends all knew each other, we had just never met (though I knew his name). Worked out - I definitely wasn't ready to meet my husband at 15

again and again and again and again and finally had to ask him out 
we went out once and it was akward, but then we became close friends and now..we are 8 months away from getting married

We met online in 2000 - in a regular yahoo NYC chat room. Neither of us were looking for love at the time though. I was in a LDR that was fading.
