he was just pulling up and the garage door opened so I guess they have power

It is affecting some many customers from FPL (florida power and lighting) from Miami to Daytona.
That's a lot of people
I was out but I am back up now
eta- It is being said that FPL is saying everyone should be back up within ten hours. Luckily it is not overly hot today and there is a breeze.
Let family know to be careful as traffic lights are out (but only sporadically). Last but not least FPL is saying people might experience intermittent problems over the next 4 days.

We're on the SouthWest coast and was informed that due to the outage in Miami, they are sifeling (sp) energy from other regions so they asked everyone to cut back on their electric.
My wonderful office is doing their part and shut off the a/c
