If anyone conceived via IVF- Help please !!!
Hi !....I usually post on IF but I was hoping to get some positive encouragement from the graduates  ...On Tuesday we had our 1st IVF transfer and unfortuantely it did not go well- Out of 13 retrieved eggs, only 2 embryos made it to a 3 day transfer and they were only a 3 cell (C) and a 4 cell (C)...Has anyone had any BFP's come out of embryos of this quality?..I'm in my 2WW and am extremely un-optimistic...Thanks !

Try to stay optimistic, I know it's hard. I think I responded to a question you posted on the IF board. My first IVF cycle failed and it was very emotionally hard to deal with. Thankfully, the second try worked. Hang in there!

You should cross-post on the PG board...I know karacg got pregnant on her second IVF cycle with two less than stellar embies.

We only got 1 embryo and it worked. We were given a 15% of it working so don't lose faith. We didn't think it would work and now we are expecting DS in just a couple of weeks

We did our first IVF cycle in St. Louis. Our RE there would not grade the embryos. He had seen perfect embryoes not make it and horrible ones become babies. You just never know. I had 11 eggs, only 6 mature and only 2 fertilized. DS just turned 2 last Wednesday.
This cycle, the RE did grade them. He graded them 1/2 on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being the best but I was still nervous because they were only 6 cells each. This time I had 11 eggs, only 4 were mature!! 3 fertilized but only 2 made it to transfer. I am pg.
Try to stay optomistic. I know it is so hard. I was convinced this cycle didn't work. You just never know. Good luck!
