Thinking of.............

getting another doggie. We have a pug and two cats right now, but should finally be moving to our new HOUSE with a big, fenced in back yard and lotsa space in the next month or two.

My husband really, really wants another pug. I don't know if I am ready to go through puppy hood again though, and prefer going the "rescue" route.

*Sigh* What's a girl to do?!

maybe you can do both by getting a pug that needs to be rescued. i know there are alot of puggles looking to be rescued. alot of people couldnt handle there hyperness. My fathers puggle will be 2 in may and is now very laid back.

My pug was a maniac until about 2 as well. He still gets very wound up when he goes to visit his dog cousins.

I think a lot of people don't realize this about the breed.

I love my pug but would most likely not get another for the reasons that you mentioned. Now that the baby is here he barks at EVERYTHING. I love him to pieces, but he drives me nuts

I always push for rescue, myself, and I love when an older dog is considered. There are so many "Pros" when adopting an older dog. They are usually trained. Their temperament is usually pretty well set. They are out of the destructive puppy phase. And best of all they are more appreciative to have a human in their lives again.

Get a rescued Pug or Pug mix! You'll save a life and you don't have to go through puppyhood!

I would get an adult dog. One that is about a year.

Pugs are cute, but come with some medical problems down the road. My boss has two and had three. they're older and got both from rescue.

If you ask her husband, he would get another Pug in a heartbeat.

I send him pics of some of the pugs I see on here just to share with him.

He loves everyone's doggies and thinks they are the best.
