Benetton or Lacoste
I feel like changing my style a bit. Kind of casual chic (if that means anything to anyone). I am leaning towards Benetton or Lacoste. Mostly for polo type shirt. Something more dressy casual than just flimsy.
How is the quality (fading, losing it's shape) of those two brands nowadays? I used to wear both years ago.
Any other brands that you would recommend?

I've bought DH tons of Lacoste—I'm happy with the quality, the clothes seem to hold up well.

Lacoste is timeless and the quality is very, very good. Benetton...quality is not that great, but they do have some cute things from time to time. I would go with Lacoste b/c you really can't go wrong.

Ditto here. DH loves Lacoste. They wash well and always look good. I have a couple of tops myself and they have worn well.

definitely Lacoste. I have a few of the shirts and they are an amazing fit...So much more flattering than any other brand! DO NOT buy in ebay though...I tried that before buying at Macy's, and was sold fakes.

Lacost holds up well. I have gotten 2 summers out of my polo dress and wear it EVERYWEAR! It washes well and has kept it's size and shape. I may even invest in one in another color!

I have a few but love the vintage ones.
Cut a bit fuller and have the worn edges & the colors are a bit more faded.
They always have good sales at the one in Manhasset. Once you buy something there, they send you sale info. in the mail.
The wash great & feel soft.
