induced because of BP?
Has anyone here been induced or will be induced because of there BP? mine has been high each time i have been for an apt for the last month. I go back tomorrow to get it checked. He said if its high he wants to talk about getting induced? How high does it have to be in order to be induced??? i have no protein in the urine.

I am not sure aobut how high, but you don't need excess protine in your urnie to have HB. I know a few people that have been induced due to HB. It's a danger to you and the baby. I'm sure they will go over everything with you at the appointment.

I had a c-section because of HB.... it started with my legs swelling and there was protein in my urine, but that went away with bedrest... amn my BP kept going up and up...FM me if you have any questions

I was induced due to high BP.
I went to my 39 week appointment (I was 38 weeks, 6 days) and my doctor took my BP 3 times, it had been high the week before and she wanted me to go to the hospital to see if I had protein in my urine and I was swelling as well. They were concerned I had preeclampsia.
They eventually decided to induce me. We totally didn't think it was going to go down that like, but it ended up being fine. I got cervedil at midnight on Thursday, pitocin around 1pm, epi around 4pm and DS was born at 9:59pm after 1 hour of pushing.

My friend just had a c-section b/c of high BP. she also had some protein in her urine. She gave birth a few week early on 2/12. She is doing great!

I went to the dr. at 38 weeks and had high bp and protein in my urine. It was the first time that happened. I don't know what my bp was but I think my protein was 2 (?). My dr. wanted me to go to the hospital. They induced me, but I never went higher than 5 cm. dilated and then i had a c-section. They did further tests in the hospital and i had a trace of protein in my urine so they classified me as borderline preclamptic. preeclampsia is very dangerous for the mother - can lead to seizures so most doctors don't want to risk it.

I had a c-section with my DD at 38 weeks cause of high BP, I didn't have protein in my urine either. I know it was high, and I was VERY swollen.

I was induced at 39 weeks due to high blood pressure. I had high BP through the entire pregnancy and was on BP med as well.
