Another Spinoff with Poll of American Work Culture
Ok here's the scenario. You have an office job that currently gives you two weeks and you have internet access.
You have to choose one option, what do you choose?
Work a job that gives you eight weeks of vacation, however you cannot access any internet from work at all? ETA: (this includes web browsing, IM, myspace, etc. everything internet related).
Or live with your two weeks vacation and "pretend you are working". 
If you work some sort of service job (retail, sales, WAITRESSING LOL) or some other type of job where you don't have daily internet access, you should choose option three.

8 weeks with my family, or chatting here during the day? No offense, but I'd just have to catch up with everyone here in the evenings and take my 8 weeks a year with my family....

The 8 weeks. Before I stopped working my internet access was heavily monitored. I got reported to my manager for being online 2 hours one week, but it was for a competitive analysis he'd assigned me. He said HR had already started to write me up for "excessive usage"

If I was at a different job, i'd choose the 8 weeks!
But, since I work for a college we accrue about 6 weeks vaca/sick time per year (2.5 days/month). We also get 2 weeks off for winter break and a week for spring break and have fridays off in the summer term (all 100% paid). So, i'll stick with having my internet!
