I have a question for the fakies (names that is)

did you post on TTC? Or did no one know that you were even trying? I get hiding and why you do it but did you hide about TTC also? I am not trying to figure you out I was just wondering.

I was a TTC poster. I am in hiding this time b/c last time we were pregnant we told the world and had a miscarriage shortly after. I did not exactly post that we were trying so soon after the miscarriage but I was still an active poster. Only a select few know this time around.

I specifically created this screen name for TTC - it's really a blessing that I've gotten to use it over here too! I just know people on here and people who lurk as well and I really wanted it all to stay between DH and I (IRL that is! )

I only posted sporadically on the TTC board. The only reason I choose a fake name is because like AnotherBFP, when I got pg before I announced it and miscarried soon after. I didnt want to not post but I also didnt want to reveal myself yet either. As soon as I get a visual confirmation at my first ultrasound I'll say who I "really" am

I have friends on here that I haven't told yet. I just told my Mom at 9 weeks and we are waiting to make our official announcement until 12 weeks.

I haven't been through a M/C but have a lot of friends that have so I am being very cautious.

I never posted on TTC because we weren't "officially" trying, but I was a lurker from time to time

my fake name was JustHappy that i created months ago.

I created it because my SIL is on LIF and we really didn't want anyone to know that we were TTC.

I've had a few friends who had a hard time TTC and when others knew they were trying, it just seem to make it worse. And knowing my husbands family, they'd be interpreting everything i did or ate, etc into thinking i was pregnant when i wasn't. I really didn't want to have to deal with the questions of "are you pregnant yet?" or "i bet your pregnant" (which would get my hopes up), when i wasn't.

I do not want to reveal myself until I'm pregnant. I just feel that ttc in personal (for me) and noone even knows we are trying! Once prego, I will come out after a few weeks!
