BRU S*CKS!!!!!!!!....long.
I ordered my furniture last month...it came in a few weeks ago but I wasn't ready for it yet so i said I would pick it up when i was ready. Well yesterday I spent ALL day...from 7:30 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon cleaning out my bedroom...moving things around to get ready for the baby furniture. We only have 1 bedroom so I had to do alot of work in order for the new stuff to fit. Well we go up to BRU around 5:00 to pick everything up. We load up the van and go home. We ordered the crib...armoire...dresser and hutch in Espresso. The hutch was the first piece of furniture we brought upstairs and opened up...everything looked perfect. My boyfriend and his BIL go back out to get the next piece and the start to open it and I hear them talking about the color. I ran downstairs and see that the dresser is Natural...turns out ALL of the other pieces are Natural. The moron at the store ordered the hutch in the correct color and everything else in Natural!!!!!!!!! I am so ******....now I have to wait untril the correct order comes in. I was so excited to pick it up and set up the room and now I have to wait again...it better come before my baby does!!!!!!!

Sorry you had to deal with this... hey, at least your room is all ready for the furniture!

It's ready but a mess...lol. I planned on using the dresser for my clothes since I took my dresser out of the room...so now I have a sh*t load of clothes on the floor.

I hear you, we ordered our crib from Behrs (I HATE THIS STORE WITH A PASSION) on Nov 5 and we still don't have it!!!!
Everything is waiting on that crib, we have need to situate the room around the crib. I haven't ordered a chair yet, because I want to see exactly where we will place the crib.

That is so frustrating! You should ask for some form of compensation for their incompetence. They should give you some kind of a credit since it was their error!

They gave me a choice. I could either A)bring the furniture back to the store and pick up the new furniture with an additional 10% off the 3 wrong pieces or B) I could wait for it to come in and have them deliver it for no charge. We chose A. We have an apartment upstairs from my boyfriend parents house and the 3 pieces are in his parents living room taking up every inch of space...the boxes are HUGE!! I don't want to leave it down there. Also they said it would take a few days to a week longer if I have them deliver it.

I had the same thing happen with our crib and they tried to blame it on the delivery company. But it was the warehouse people since our bill of laddng said natural and the box for the crib said another color.
I was very frustrated with them also.

Well, I guess 10% off is better than nothing.
Regardless, the situation is frustrating as he l l and no preggo woman should have to deal with such a large mistake!

I know it's totally their fault but I blame myself too....for not noticing to correct it. If I would have looked at the paperwork I was signing when I ordered it I would have seen that 3 pieces said NAT and not Espresso. Also when we picked up the stuff the boxes also said Natural on the 3. Ugh!!!
