Spinoff to Wrist watches

Do you wear your watch with the face at the back of your hand (you can see the face with your palm down on the table), or with the face on the same side as your palm (you can just about touch the face if you curl your fingers in)

When I used to wear my watch it was always face up on the back of my wrist.

face up on my arm.. but its kind of big so it always slides around to face the other way..lol

I never wear a watch - but I remember a time in high school where I did wear a SWATCH - and it was some weird unspoken rule that everyone in school had to wear their swatch on the palm side.

Believe it or not, this is a drinking story!!! (I told you I have one for every occasion).


I wear my watch to the inside of my wrist, b/c when I used to bartend if I had the shaker in my hand & some one asked the time I would spill drink all down the front of my outfit. Not too bright I know, but I can count the number of sober shifts on one hand Of course the bartenders used to do this to eachother to pass the time.

So if you wear the watch on the palm side & someone asks the time, they get the drink tossed onto them.
