Are they worth it?

I am feeling a splurge brewing....

Skinceuticals SPF in the summer. It doesn't make me break out. My DH uses it too.

I have the creme de la mer, my friend gave it to me a couple of months ago since she didn't like it. Since I have it I have not used it regularly because it is very heavy and since I have very sensitive skin I am concerned about breaking out.

If you do decide to try it, please let me know what you think.

Ages ago, DH bought me a jar of Creme de la Mer for Christmas. I was so excited, but honestly it wasn't that great. Not worth the money at all, didn't perform any miracles on my skin.

also be aware that creme de la mer has no spf in it you have to buy a seperate cream that you put on first so its another expense, i also was not such a fan of it

I was using Creme de la Mer (the original creme) for a number of years and liked it. It really made a difference in my dry skin, especially during the winter months. Although it's heavy, it never left me greasy. A little goes a long way! (I've been using a new primer that doesn't really require that I put on mosturizer, that's why I basically stopped using the Creme de la Mer.)

I have been considering trying their gel creme and lotions, just haven't gotten to them yet b/c I've been busy buying other products.

I have the La Mer Loose Powder, but the jar is just too friggin' huge so I find that I never use it. (Definitely can't travel with it, which is why I never purchased the 2oz jar of the Creme de la Mer.)

I would suggest checking out Ebay to see if you can buy a sample jar/bottle of whatever La Mer product you're interested in trying out. That's what I did before I started buying the full size jar. Why waste over $100 if you're not going to like the product.

I do use alot of La Mer products. But mostly in the winter months also

For someone with dry skin, Creme La Mer is totally worth it....I pay $200 for 1oz but it really lasts (longer than other 1oz cremes).....

My skin is much better and you can see the difference....totally worth it!

SIL just gave me a 1oz container of Creme De La Mer - she gets it for free. I used it today and rather liked it!

I used to work for the company - my old boss used to call it "Creme De La Crap"

Its a love or hate thing - people either love it or hate it.

My 86 year old grandmother absolutely SWEARS by this stuff. I buy it for her every year and its her favorite gift

I've used it - eh......For me it wasn't worth the pricetag.

Skinceuticals is great especially the serums they have.
