Shower invites?
We just got married last July - should I base the baby shower invite list off of those we invited to the bridal shower?
What about out of town people who you know won't come - do you invite so that they have the registry info?
What about kids? Do you invite mom's and their kids? We are not doing the Jack and Jill thing... is going to be at my mom's house so I want to keep the number reasonable.

Re: Shower invites?
My invite list was similar to that of my bridal shower list. I included family and friends (including out of state) and friends of the moms. I did not include co-workers since they are throwing me a shower at work.

I worked off my bridal shower list, and added and deleted people as needed.

Same here. I tried to keep my baby shower list a bit smaller though.

And there's another dilemma... I'm in outside sales and I have only 1 female co-worker. Not to say a shower would definitely be out of the question, but I've played with the idea of inviting my female co-worker to the shower. I was so new to the company around the wedding - which was the only reason I didn't invite co-workers to the wedding. If I worked in an office I would definitely not invite co-workers.

Same. My shower list is older though, from 2004. I invited only a few coworkers that I am close with. In your case I would invite your 1 cowoker!

I'm going to base my list off of my bridal shower list. Then, delete and add people as necessary.

Re: Shower invites?
I basically followed my bridal shower list. I added a few people (that I see more now) and deleted a few (that I haven't seen since the wedding. I invited a few out of town people that we are close to- my grandma, a good friend of my mother, two of my friends. We told my cousins to bring their babies and I sent a seperate invite to my friend's daughter that is 12. We are inviting the men later for dinner.
