Well, I hate to say it, but... chances are, if you're going to get it, you already caught it. For now, though, take your vitamins (lots of C), drink plenty of fluids, and keep washing your hands.

We had a discussion about those "preventative" "medications". One coworker swore by Airborne, and takes it regularly. Another coworker commented, "If it works so great, why have you been sick for the last two weeks?"

That stinks! DH & I were both sick with an awful stomach virus this week. We're both feeling better soon.

pfffffft.
By the way he's acting, you'd think his limbs were slowly decaying or something.
Good thing is that he said he'd fall asleep on the couch again tonight so he doesn't keep me up with his snoring...by the time he gets up and comes to bed, I'm usually sleeping soundly enough that I don't hear the snoring.  What a sweetie  I hate having to get up for work when he's still home in bed.

i came home from work with the same thing he didnt get out of bed all day. ugh. i think i might do exactly what you did. nyquil will be his best friend tonight.
i just hope he goes to work tomorrow i finally have a day off!!!!

i started using those Zicam q-tip things and they seem to work pretty well.
I also hit the Cold Eeze drops when I feel it coming on too for good measure.
