for those renting pumps...
When do I rent it? I plan to rent one until I know for sure I am going to BF, then I will purchase, but I am not sure if I rent it now and wait for DD to arrive or do I wait until I am home. Will I want it right away? I know some people say you shouldn't pump until later to avoid nipple confusions, and others say that is BS. What is everyone doing? If you've done it before, what did you do?

I rented mine from the hospital and got it when I left the hospital (you use theirs when you are there - they supply you with everything you'll need)

Ok great! Did you just let them know when you were that you wanted to rent or did you have to "reserve it" ahead of time? I know my hospital rents it so I guess I could just call...
